Welcome to my own little corner of cyber space! I have been working hard to get this site up and running and it’s almost there. When I first started on this journey all I wanted to do was take pretty pictures, who knew there was so much more to it. Things have moved so fast and here I am with my own website (WHAT?!) and blog, it is still really weird to me!
I want to take just a minute and introduce myself. I’m Krista, wife, mom, photographer and lover of all things sweet.
I have been married to my
very best friend and self proclaimed business manager for just over 10 years now and we have two of the most amazing kids on the planet. As a family we enjoy fishing, hunting, camping and just being together. I always have my camera close by to capture whatever is going on around me but in my spare time I enjoy crafting of all types, spending time with my family and eating candy!
My kids are my whole world and the reason I got into photography. They are 2 of my very best friends and I am so lucky to get to be their mom! They could not be more opposite from each other and their dad loves to tease me for making them both the most stubborn kids on the planet.
My journey into photography started just over 3 years ago when my husband surprised me with my first DSLR for our anniversary! Our youngest was just about a year old and I was obsessed with getting pictures taken of my kids, like every 3 months! I mentioned to my husband that if I had a better camera I could probably do them myself and the rest is history. It took a lot of reading, classes and help from supportive friends to get where I am today. I started out photographing Families but quickly found a love for Seniors and Newborns as well.
I have a passion for capturing the moments that you never want to forget. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, I believe it may be more. When I look back at pictures of me and my kids so many memories come back to me from that moment, and I cherish them all. My kids love to look through all of their pictures and talk about all the fun they had that day or the people that were there. I am so blessed to capture that for my family and yours!
