Sometimes I get these crazy ideas in my head and I can not stop thinking about it until I do it. I saw an outdoor family paint session online a few weeks ago and instantly fell in love with it. I knew I had to make it happen and it had to be quick. I happened to find a screaming deal on the paper that I needed to do it…it was fate! So while we were all enjoying a snow day (the first in 15 years!) I was texting my friend and we decided to just go for it. I was going to run to the store to get the paint but when I walked outside I was greeted by a HUGE snow drift at the end of my driveway, gotta love the Utah wind. A quick text to my friend and she was on her way to get the paint as well! I was extra grateful for my studio today, this shoot was just what I needed (and it was nice and warm)!
This little guy brings a smile to my face every time I see him. He lights up the whole room with his big personality! I knew he would be the perfect little model and he did not disappoint! I was laughing the whole time we were taking pictures, he was SO happy and loving life. It seriously made my whole day to see how happy he was! I am realizing more every day just how fast our kids grow up and even though it makes me so sad I love that I can capture these moments for parents to cherish forever. I absolutely love working with little kids, sure they make me work hard sometimes but it is always worth it.
