Welcome! I am so excited to be hosting our second annual Christmas Kindness Mini’s. This is one of my very favorite events and I look forward to it all year.
It all started last year when I was looking for a way to involve my Senior Reps with something that had a greater purpose. The idea for Christmas Kindness Mini’s was to give all families an affordable way to get updated family pictures and help local families in need.
Last year we had about 20 amazing families join us and it was such a fun day spent taking pictures and laughing with all of our clients. We were so happy to have been able to raise right around $1,200 dollars. We had 4 deserving families lined up and we were able to provide them with a great Christmas. It was such an amazing experience to be able to go out and buy the things that these sweet families needed. We were able to get everything from the basic necessities such as socks and coats to fun new toys and art supplies. After buying all of the needed items for our families we still had money left over and we were able to make a large donation of cleaning supplies, new pillows, etc. to the Women’s Shelter. We kept commenting on how blessed we were as the money never seemed to run out. Tears were shed when we were went to deliver these items and it was such an amazing experience to know that some of the burden had been lifted off of these families shoulders.
We are so excited for this year as our event has more than doubled! With over 50 sessions booked it is going to be an amazing day of photographing these families. I can not wait to see what we are able to do with your donations this year. We have some very deserving families lined up with heartbreaking stories and I am so excited to surprise them with a great Christmas.
We could not do this event every year without your support and it means more to us than we can adequately express.
